From the host
Nuwara Eliya gets cold at night — proper cold, the kind that catches first-timers off guard. So the first thing we sorted out here was warmth: thick duvets on every bed, hot water that doesn't run out at 6pm, and a front desk that's staffed round the clock in case your bus gets in at an odd hour.
We're set back from the main road, about a kilometre out — far enough that you won't hear the bus stand, close enough that it's a flat 7-minute walk into town for dinner or the morning market. Most evenings you'll find someone in the garden with a cup of tea, watching the mist roll down off the hills before the electricity of an early highland sunset.
Whether you're here for a couple of nights before Ella, chasing waterfalls with the family, or bunking down solo in one of the dorms after a day on the tea trails — we keep the rooms properly clean, the towels stacked, and someone awake to let you in.
